Samuel Delany

With four Nebula Awards and two Hugo Awards behind him, Samuel R. Delany became a Grandmaster of Science Fiction in 2014. His novels include BABEL-17, THE EINSTEIN INTERSECTION, NOVA, DHALGREN, STARS IN MY POCKET LIKE GRAINS OF SAND, the four-volume Return to Nevèrÿon, and his most recent SF novel, THROUGH THE VALLEY OF THE NEST OF SPIDERS. DARK REFLECTIONS won him the 2008 Stonewall Book Award. A year before, he was the subject of a documentary, The Polymath. He is the editor of THE MAGIC: TEN TALES BY ROGER ZELAZNY. LETTERS FROM AMHERST has just appeared, as has VOYAGE, ORESTES! A SURVIVING NOVEL FRAGMENT. Two new nonfiction volumes will come out next year.
