Evelyn Leeper

Evelyn Leeper became addicted to science fiction with THE WONDERFUL FLIGHT TO THE MUSHROOM PLANET. She discovered fandom when then-future husband Mark signed her up for the UMass SF Society in 1968. In 1978 they founded the Bell Labs SF Club and their own (soon) weekly fanzine, which has gone through several title changes until it settled down as the MT VOID (pronounced "Empty Void") which has just published issue #2092! She has been nominated for the Hugo for Best Fan Writer twelve times for her convention reports, travelogues, and book reviews, and was a judge for the Sidewise Awards for alternate history from 1995 to 2014.
